I made this little mug for my mom as a late birthday present (and because I had to make a project with a handle). It turned out cute, I'm glad I decided to use a dark glaze and leave the hearts and handle white.

I was so glad when this came out of the glaze! It smeared a bit on the inside, but it still looks good and the blue that I mixed for this turned out gorgeous! P.S. Elizabeth loved it!
Okay, I think I officially have a problem. I keep making big bowls instead of turning stuff in that I actually need to do for class...
Well, I had decided to make these little votive candle holders for my set of three. However, its not going to well because they look very, very different and will not pass as a set of three. A few of them might turn out cool though once I put holes in them.
Well, the story behind this is I grabbed a great big chunk of sea mix because my sister had asked me to make a fruit bowl for her apartment. However, unbeknownst to me, the bell was going to ring in just about one minute after I started centering... I didn't want to waste the clay, so I decided to just go for it. I am excited to see if it turns out alright because this was my first big project. Fingers crossed it comes out alive!
Did a bit of glazing today, I really love how this glaze melts so I decided to try it three ways on some of my new projects.
Made my planter yesterday (10/9). Its a little bit on the small side, but I love how I rounded out the top! I think it will look really good with a small cactus or succulent.
I got my first bowl out of the glaze kiln, now I am going to go type up a paragraph for it and turn it in!
9/27 I created my vase! It is very centered, which I am very proud of! It has nice form and a very good, rounded lip as well.
Yay! My first project is officially glazed and out of the kiln! I really like this cylinder, even though it turned out light green, not matte turquoise....
